Role 1: Sales Officer

The Sales Officer is a key entry-level position within the sales department of a bank. As the name suggests, their primary responsibility is to sell banking products to potential clients. The ideal candidate for this role must have prior sales experience in credit cards, personal loans, or mortgages. In addition, it is essential to have banking experience, either in the UAE or in their home country.

The Sales Officer must be knowledgeable about the products they are selling and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Their primary task is to build relationships with potential customers, assess their financial needs, and offer suitable banking products. This requires good listening skills and the ability to understand a client’s financial situation to offer the best solution for their needs.

Role 2: Team Leader – Sales

The Team Leader – Sales is responsible for managing a team of Sales Officers. This role requires team handling experience of more than 2 years in UAE banking, in addition to prior sales experience in leading a team of credit card or personal loan sales. The Team Leader must have strong leadership skills to guide and mentor the Sales Officers in their team to achieve their targets.

The Team Leader must also be knowledgeable about banking products and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should lead by example and be willing to work collaboratively with their team to achieve sales targets. Moreover, the Team Leader must have the ability to motivate their team and foster a positive work environment that encourages high performance.

Role 3: Sales Manager

The Sales Manager is a senior-level position within the sales department of a bank. This role requires managerial experience in UAE banks of more than 4 years. The Sales Manager must have experience selling banking products to clients, including CASA, credit cards, mortgages, loans, and bancassurance. The Sales Manager is responsible for prospecting and identifying new leads and pitching to clients.

The Sales Manager must also have strong leadership skills to manage a team of sales resources. This requires effective communication, motivation, and the ability to foster a positive work environment. The Sales Manager must have a comprehensive understanding of the banking industry, including market trends, products, and services, to provide guidance and support to their team.

Working under pressure is also a crucial skill for a Sales Manager. They must have the ability to handle stress and work in a high-pressure environment to meet sales targets.

Role 4: Telesales Executive

The Telesales Executive is responsible for selling banking products over the phone. This role requires experience in inbound/outbound calls from the banking industry and UAE or back-home banking experience. The Telesales Executive must have prior experience with any banking product.

The Telesales Executive must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. They should be able to communicate effectively over the phone and provide suitable banking products to potential clients. Achieving the sales targets is the primary responsibility of the Telesales Executive, and this requires a results-driven mindset.
